Day One

8:00 - 8:30AM...................Registration Open

8:30 – 9:15 AM ...................The Six Truths of Human Interaction

The opening session introduces participants to the process of developing a superior presentation. We will explore how messages are communicated through both verbal and physical means, and how to master both in private and public interactions. Regardless of the level of management or presentational ability, every participant will discover ways to improve their own presentational skills.
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

9:15 – 10:00 AM ...................The Three Step Formula of Inspiration

The first step toward a satisfying result in a communication begins with the content of your message. This session introduces the simple Three-Step Formula that all successful communications follow, be they speeches, sales presentations, meetings, advertising, and every other form of communication, verbal or written. Participants will have the opportunity to practice their understanding of the Formula by writing a brief (3-sentence) statement just prior to the break following this session.
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

10:00 – 10:20AM...................Break

10:20 - 12:00PM ...................The Seven Elements of How To Say It – Part I

Ninety percent of human communication occurs through body language and vocalization. Insuring they are delivering the same message as your content is critical to being able to establish trust in your listener, as incongruities inevitably raise suspicions. Join us as we show you ways to spot a liar through his or her body language! Part One concentrates on your physicalization, Part Two on your Vocalization.
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

12:00 - 1:00PM...................Lunch on your own

1:00 – 2:30PM
...................The Seven Elements of How To Say It – Part II

As has often been said, “It isn’t what you say, it’s how you say it!” During this session, volunteers will have the opportunity to read their statements from the previous session to insure they have fully captured the elements of the Formula for Inspiration. In addition, the facilitators will begin to layer additional physical elements to their delivery as needed.
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

2:30 – 2:45 PM...................Break

2:45 - 4:30PM
...................The Seven Essential Tools for your Presentational Toolbox

Having the right tools always makes a job easier, providing you know how to use them properly. This session explores many of the tools at a presenter’s disposal, such as knowing when and how to use a script correctly, how to determine ways to establish your authority, the appropriate clothes to where for the occasion, how to use a lectern and the proper use of a microphone, among others. You’ll never be able to watch another presentation the same again once you complete this session!
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

4:30 PM...................Q & A / Adjourn

Day Two

8:30 - 10:30AM ..................The Six Final Insights to Master

The last few minutes before your presentation begins are the most critical, creating a lasting impression that can make or break you and your presentation. Regardless of how well-prepared you may be beforehand, knowing exactly what to do, moment to moment once you’re at the venue, is the only way to insure you can make a presentation with NO FEAR. Join us as we take the devil out of the details, and make them old friends to comfort you, including exactly what to do when Murphy’s Law prevails!
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

10:30 - 10:45AM................... Break

10:45 - 12:00PM
..................Demonstration and Workshop/Group Coaching

Regardless of how much you hear about something, even when it makes perfect sense, there’s nothing like solidifying that knowledge by watching others do it, or most effectively, doing it yourself. This session offers the opportunity for participants to watch volunteers demonstrate their skills under the watchful and gentle analytical eye of the facilitators. No embarrassing “critique” here, the facilitators understand you can’t grow beautiful orchids by bashing them on the head. They have to be nurtured, which is just what they’ll do here with their volunteers. A great way to see how your skills measure up!
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

12:00 - 1:00PM ................... Lunch on your own

1:00 - 5:00PM ..................Demonstration and Workshop/Group Coaching (continued)

2:30 - 2:45PM................... Break

5:00PM ..................Course Adjourn
